 The Indie

Soft red brick, English Ivy, warmth, and attention to detail. Of an era. Built in 1950, we didn't tear it down, we’re building it up by adding to the character by making space for conversation, community, a front garden, and you.

Studios conveniently located off I-85, halfway between Midtown and Downtown and very close to chicken al carbon, Indie is happening on the Armour-Ottley Loop, a place you want to know about.

The Armour-Ottley Loop

The Armour-Ottley Loop is known for design, tortillas, and buildings of a mid-century vintage. An industrial area established in the 1950’s, the Loop is today home to Atlanta Track Club, Sweetwater Brewing, Coyote Logistics, East Pole Coffee, Fox Brothers BBQ, CineMassive, Open Hand, to the trade businesses, some buildings that remain a mystery, a nature conservancy, and plenty of positive energy. We’re unique.

People visit the Loop to work with convenience, have a beer, sip some coffee, enjoy a night, upholster sofas, give back, run with friends. They will come here to design products, fashion, books, movies, games, buildings, streets, cities, cars, software, portals, systems, signs, BeltLines, bikes, homes, plus innovate on new technologies yet unknown. We’re here to shake things up a bit, and provide a very nice place and space to match talent and ability.

The Idea

Studios are people and they are place. We designed with each in mind, to bring joy. Inspiring moments and natural light and community and conversation have you feeling comfortable and relaxed. Efficiency of space and a beautiful work environment make the day so much more enjoyable.

12 easy, cool, comfortable, and elevated studios make up The Indie. Each of these studios has either a porch or a patio (except for 2), making room for some outdoor space inside your office. We hope you’ll love it here. We’re willing to provide flexibility in the event that you don’t. But, you will. Indie Becomes You.
